Not so humourous humerus
Twas the first bicycle ride of the season...
the very first day.
Andy was wending homeward
he looked behind
to make sure
he wasn't blocking the way.
Handle bars wedged
into a fence
so close to where he rode
and hence
what happened next
was
most forebode....
And this is what the damage looked like (at a day before) a week later.
The humerus ball joint was fractured in 3 places. 4 stitches to the elbow. The olecranon bursa exploded in his elbow too. Look that one up. haha.
Soooo... the bugger is now off work for 6 weeks.
Which do i cry about more. The ACC 80 percent of wages downsizing or the fact that he is home for 6 weeks solid!
